Memento Mori is Latin for "remember that you must die" and in art, it's used to express the inevitably of death. It's been a theme throughout the ages and this is my modern take. In today's world of endless distractions, we can easily forget that this experience of life will end. This thought can be disheartening but it can also remind us to be more grateful, courageous, and caring.
